SOMETHIN’ URBY is made from a super thin layer (0.00075 mm to be exact) of self-adhesive vinyl film. It is as thin as a strand of your hair! The beauty of SOMETHIN’ URBY is that people will think you spent hours painting your design on the wall when in reality it took only minutes to apply! · Will the decal leave a sticky residue or take up the paint when removed? No, SOMETHIN’ URBY is manufacturer’s certified and lab tested to be fully removable, though not reusable. Please bear in mind that wall surfaces differs from one another, this is a factor that is out of our control. Since we cannot guarantee the condition of the wall surface, we cannot assume that paint flecking will not occur. Some minor paint touch up may be required if flecking does occur. · What surface is ideal for SOMETHIN’ URBY decals? The simplest way to explain this is by comparing an apple, an orange and a pineapple. A smooth surface like the apple is the best. Slightly textured surface like the orange is also acceptable. When you get to pineapple like surface, don’t even try it. If you find that the decals do not adhere to the wall the first time, reapply the decals on the application film to the wall again. Give it an extra good ol’ rub-a-dub-dub all over using the squeegee provided and leave it on for 10-15 mins. After that, try removing the application tape again by peeling it off at an angle of approximately 180˚. · Any specific surface that I should AVOID installing the decals? Yes. You should avoid strongly textured wall surfaces such as stucco at all cost. Definitely a pineapple right there! The decals would also not adhere well to fabric or fabric like materials. Wooden-based wall surface will not do as well, unless it is coated with a layer of satin paint. Do not apply the decals to paper-based materials or wallpapers unless you are thinking of a permanent application. · I just painted my wall, how long do I need to wait before installing SOMETHIN’ URBY? If your target is a wall that is freshly painted, please stop. Wait for the paint to dry up completely, usually for about 2-3 weeks before applying the decals. In the meantime, bring the decals everywhere with you so to help us create an awareness of our wonderful products…J · I have accidentally damaged my wall decal while installing it! Is there anything you can do for me? Although our decals are made with easy installation in mind, we do not discount the fact that damage may occur during installation. To avoid this, we would recommend that you read through the installation instructions at least once. Read it again if you are still in doubt. If the damage has already been done, we would recommend you to do what kids would in this situation…blame it on your pet. It’s that or you could send your damaged decal back to us together with your proof of purchase and we will resupply you with a new piece at 70% of you original purchase price. How’s that for a peace of mind? · Once the decal has been installed, can I move it elsewhere? SOMETHIN’ URBY wall decals are removable but NOT reusable. However, if you are thinking of placing the decal temporarily before you find the right position, then you need not worry too much. Our decal’s self- adhesive glue is engineered in such a way that it will not grab on to your wall tightly unless you apply force on the vinyl film against the surface (yes, we think of everything). Lightly press on the decal till you find the best position and then use the squeegee to place it on. Most importantly, be creative and have fun! · How long will it last? Our manufacturer places it at 3-5 years. To achieve its maximum life span, we recommend the following guidelines to your decals: ü Keep out of direct sunlight exposure or intense heat. ü Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying the decal. ü Clean the decals with mild solvent if you must. Otherwise, just use a damp cloth. · Can I use the decal in my bathroom? Most definitely, but don’t install it during (!) or immediately after your bath time. SOMETHIN’ URBY can withstand the humidity of the bathroom (it’s waterproof actually) but the surface need to be completely dry and clean for the adhesive to work properly. But if it makes you happy, you can still do it nude. You can stick SOMETHIN’ URBY to the walls, shower curtains, tiles and even the WC and basin! · Can I use the decal on my automobile? You can with our all new imported material. Go ahead and use our decals to pimp your ride. · My kid has itchy hand syndrome. If it is removable, won’t that make things easier for him/her to tear it apart? Kids are simply unpredictable at times. Even if it is a blank wall, they may even decide to paint it using mom’s lipstick. If it is itchy hand they have, go with the flow. We suggest that you include your young ones in the installation process. That way, they will appreciate what they have helped created and hence would tend not to destroy them. We would like to mention that SOMETHIN’ URBY wall decals are made from non-toxic materials. · But I found cheap wall decals elsewhere. Why the difference? There are hundreds of justifications that we can think of but need we go that far? Here are some of the main qualitative differences: ü Cheap decals are usually sub-standard quality decals with no creditable certificate of quality and are made using questionable chemicals. ü Sub-standard wall decals will most definitely ruin your otherwise perfect wall. Many claims that their decals are removable, can they prove it? We can. ü Sub-standard wall decals will colour fade off like your favourite jean, but unlike vintage jeans, would you want a colour faded wall decals? Our goods are colour fade resistant for up to 5 years, lab tested & proven! ü Would I be cheated? Somethin’ Urby is an established Company with a physical Studio right here in Klang, Selangor D.E., Malaysia, Earth. We not only have great graphic designer, we also have certified accountant and experienced marketeer to run the operation. We deal with both local and international sales from our Studio. With a market that wide, our reputation is everything. Yes, we will honour our part of a deal. ü Are the cheap decals safe for kids? SOMETHIN’ URBY range of decals are ALL made from non-toxic materials. Lab test results have shown that mild acids, alkalis and solvents have no effect on our decals too. These characteristics are very important especially when there are kids around. ü Our fantastic designs are original and exclusive to only SOMETHIN’ URBY. If you have seen it somewhere before, yes, most probably we have been cheated too. · OK! I’ve just placed the order online, how long before the goods are delivered to me? Great news & thank you for your purchase! A confirmation email will be sent to you within 24 hours informing you that your order have been received by us. In case we have run out of stock for the colour that you ordered, our customer service personnel will call or email you for further actions. All in all, your wall decals will be delivered within 10 working days using creditable courier service. Once your order has been handed over to the courier service, we will then email you the details of the courier company and the tracking number for your reference. · I can’t sleep! I can’t wait for my SOMETHIN’ URBY to arrive. How can I check the status of my order? Don’t sweat it. We will assist you to the best we can. Once we have handed over your order to the courier service, we will email you the details of the courier company and a tracking number. Just visit the courier company's website or call up their customer service hotline and quote to them your tracking number. If you have any trouble after that, kindly contact us at sales@somethinurby.com and brief us of your situation. · I would like to show off my creativity too. Can I send in my own design?
